Microwavable!

For this week I wanted to get back to color. Since I’m working on new Clamcakes strips, the next coloring book, an adventure strip, and a Manga strip – I haven’t had time to colorize some of the newer strips (I’m getting there. Stop pressuring me!).
So, here we have one that I’ve posted before, but it’s not like people have become more patient since then. Now, eat your pizza rolls and enjoy!

Batgirl!

Batgirl character piece for in class demonstrations. Part of my “Comics! Comics! Comics!” series which includes comic book art, comic strip creation (to include gag panels), and Manga comics/graphic novels.

You know, normally I don’t like to be so direct when I do a piece that is a social commentary. Not saying I don’t do it, but it is rare. But I have noticed, particularly over the last 10 years or so, that cartoonists seem to be overwhelmingly on the left. And not always in an objective way. I’m sorry – but the news that’s coming out paints a pretty grim picture  – but it’s a picture we all need to see, despite the cries of “Fascism.”

A day of Drawing

These are the drawings I’m working on today: A political cartoon, 2 pages for the coloring book I’m working on, and 2 superhero drawings for an upcoming class.

   Busy day. Love it!
